Pastor Jennifer Bio
Originally from the Chicagoland area, Jennifer is an Assistant Pastor at ACTS Campus Ministry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She was ordained through Christ Ministries Inc. and graduated with her Master of Divinity degree through Christ Ministries School of Divinity in August 2019. She currently serves as the Director of Sister Circle, a women’s group providing Godly social events, Biblical teaching, and prayer for ladies on the UIUC campus. Jennifer believes in Christians having Godly fun and representing the kingdom at all times. She is passionate about health promotion and serves as a faculty member in the Department of Public Health at a midwestern university. She is also a National Certified Health Education Specialist. Combining her passion for Jesus and health promotion, Jennifer thrives to see the kingdom of the Lord advanced.
Pastor Alicia Bio
Born and raised in Decatur, IL, Alicia came to know and love Christ at an early age. She strongly believes you can truly live saved and enjoy life without compromising! Alicia graduated with her Master of Divinity degree through Christ Ministries School of Divinity in August 2019 was ordained through Christ Ministries Inc. in August 2020. She also received her Masters in Clinical Counseling at EIU. Alicia currently serves as the Pastoral Overseer of Praise and Worship and Kid's Ministry Director at ACTS Campus Ministry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Alicia and was installed as an Assistant Pastor in September 2020. Alicia has a desire to someday serve in the missions field overseas and locally. Alicia is also a Nationally Certified Counselor in the mental health field. She completed hed masters thesis on “Perspectives on Mental Health in the Black Church”. Alicia has an interest in bringing more awareness about mental health and spirituality.
